Fitment Question
I am looking at buying some wheels for my evo. The wheels I have found are 18”x7.5” with an offset of 38. Will these wheels fit safely on my car? Could I still run a 235 tire with a 7.5” rim? What are hubcentric spacers? Sorry for the noob questions, im kinda new to the wheel game.

Wheels
I dont understand why some of you buy aftermarket rims that are only 7.5" wide the stock wheels are 8" wide. So if your going to go with a differient wheel setup why not get 17x9s with like a +30 offset then you can fit some big *** tires on all the way around, like at least 245s(this is what's going on my 1G) If I had a EVO I would put 255s all the way around, the more grip the better right

He wants the 18x7.5 +38 (typical Honda size) probably because it is super cheap or something. Who knows?
It will fit fine, but you should make sure the wheel has enough back clearance to clear the front brakes. Every wheel is different so no way to say until you actually put it on. Since its a 7.5, if it doesn't clear your brakes, you can probably use a wheel spacer and it should be fine.
18x7.5 +38 will look REALLY UGLY skinny toothpick wheels, but that's your choice.
