Im surprised nobody uses the EBC pads...I have always liked EBC products, got into them when I was into riding and racing quads a lot. I just bought an Evo so I dont need brakes anytime soon but I will be looking at the EBC brakes because I liked them on my old crx, has anyone used them or are they something new to the evo community? Just curious because nobody but myself has mentioned them as a good street pad, and they are reasonably priced through summitracing.com

If you get aggressive race pads (Ex: Hawk Blues) for use on the street, they will eat your rotors in a couple of days. The race pads are designed to operate at much higher temperatures and you will not be able to sustain minimum operating temp. on the street. These pads will not eat your rotors as quickly when on the track, operating within their temperatue range.

I am prby one of the only people here with Satisfied pads (www.satisfiedbrakes.com). Its a Canadian company, one of the largest in NA. I havent heard anyone in the past using them, but to be honest - these work darn well on the street.
I have the Satisfied Pro in the front and Ceramic in the rear. Installed them about 2 weeks ago, and I must say stop very well, almost as good as the Brembo stockers.
I dont road race this car (at least not yet), and it only sees the dragway here and there. So racing pads for my car would be overkill. On my past cars, including some track cars, I used Hawk pads, but they where a bit much on the street, lots of dust, sweaks, needed to be warmed up a tad.
Cost me 120 shipped, and I installed them myself with a coworker in about an hour.

I ran the CCX's and they actually were pretty good to my rotors. For whatever reason, the CCX's were better to my rotors than the SSS pads by endless.

I think ill go with these CCX from japan. At this price you cant go wrong. $220 for front and rears BTW do these pads wear out quicker than the stock ones?
