that's what you do!

btw the stock evo tires are hard to get becuase they're actually an evo only tire. no other car uses them and they're made specifically for us. i mean other cars can use them but you can imagine the market is very narrow especially since it isn't advertised at all. you have to search real hard on tirerack to find it.

Neova's don't come in 235/45/17, only 225/45/17 and 40-profile sizes. Don't mix and match sizes... it's bad for your AWD system's differentials.

Come to think of it, you really shouldn't mix new and used tires together on an AWD system. Your tires should all be within 2/32nds of an inch of each other in diameter.

mate, I just replied to another thread that Yokohamado make 235/45/17 (AD07). Check the Yokohama site (search for Yokohame rubber or something like that)... their japanese site sure says it.

I am in the boat of changing 1 tire... I keep reading you should not mix a new tire with a used tire on an AWD car.... My question is A) Who can go blow over a grand once they get a flat in one of their tires that can't be repaired? and B) Front tires turn which causes 1 tire to rotate at a different speed then the other.... now why does this not cause any harm but 2/32nd's+ inch does? I can understand a totally different size rim/tire but a full tread tire vs a half tread tire is really going to blow diffs? I say just replace the 2 tires and call it quits.... It is insane to go and buy 4 new tires at $244 a pop just because 2 are bad or in my case 1 has a 4" patio screw that made a slight scrape in the sidewall and now no one will patch it. There is a price to pay to own this car but it shouldn't sound like this. "**** I just picked up a nail..... guess i need 4 new tires." LOL
