I've got 15,000 miles on mine. However, I totally believe that the car came off the boat out of alignment. The inside of two of my tires are almost bald while the outsides have plenty of wear left. I've rotated them regularly, too. Of course Mitsu won't warranty the alignment (that expired at 12,000 miles). I need to replace them pretty soon, and get the thing correctly aligned. Had they worn evenly I could have gotten 25K miles easy. I don't drive hard very often, though.
By the way, I called Fresno Mitsubishi the other day to get the factory alignment specs to take to another shop. The service manager has been unable to locate them. Anyone know where I can get them?

For some reason the inside of the advans always seem to wear quickly. The race shop I got aligned at said they had seen this problem on several evos in addition to mine. my front camber was at a mild -1 and should not have caused that kind of wear. They thought that the adverse wear on the advans may be a function of thier construction or the stiffness of the sidewalls. the alignment shop I went to had the specs available on the computer for the 03-04 evos, and I started there for my alignment on my 05.

i currently have about 16,500 with the Advans.. not yet bald, but it sure is on its way.. i'm from NJ, and believe me & others who have driven their Advans in the snow during winter.. BAD idea.. i've risked it a few times, and each time it was like a dangerous adventure getting home..

wat tires would you guys reccomend changing to? i've still got a good deal of tread in the back but not much in the front since i haven't been able to do a tire rotation due to a nail in one of the rear tires... i've got like 7k on them so far btw

Depends completely and what you want from a tire. Are you willing to sacrifice longevity for traction? Would you like something that performs well in rain, or can you give that up for improved dry performance? How much are you ready to spend?
