Toyo T1R vs. Falken 451

Anyone running the Falken 451s? They are cheaper then the T1Rs just wondering how they compare, since the general concensous seems to be that the T1Rs are just slightly worse then the stock Advans. I used to have Falken 512 all seasons, they werent terrible, steering response was way worse then the advans, but never had any grip problems and they actually seemed better for drag racing cause of the softer sidewall. But the car lost its sharpness in the steering completely with them. Just wanting some opinions, thanks

I had some T1R's on my GTi and I LOVED them. I've always been a fan of the T1-S's so but they had a issue with hydroplaning. the new T1-Rs are suppose to be a lot better but since it doesnt rain much out here in az i could never test that. traction was good and they had good response as well. I'd take the T1-R's over the 451s anyday....

If you want to know they were 235-40-18.

I got T1Rs in my Miata and found them inferior to the Falken Azenis Sports. The T1Rs have softer sidewalls so the ride is softer, but they feel kinda loose or imprecise. I wish I would have gotten another brand......
