Question Rota D2 Wheels?

Has anyone had any experience with these wheels (Rota D2)? They look similar to Speed Star SP1. Do you know if they have any sizes that would fit the evo? I would prefer 17" but I could go 18". Thanks for the replies.

Here is a picture of the wheel.

Not yet, subydude says they may offer a 18x8.5 rim soon in it that will fit the Evo.

Tanabe bought SSR, and is starting to sell their rims over in Japan I think (or planning on it). A vendor told me SSR rims should be available spring of next year.

When I was at SEMA I asked one of the guys at Rota and they said that they were still in the stages of what bolt pattern they were going to make..

Rota is developing this wheel currently

It has been delayed a couple times, but an 18" wheel should be coming in Jan or Feb.

I think it will be 18x8, however we are unsure at this time.

If these do clear the brakes we will be able to start a group buy here and get custom colors (but not custom sizes)

We will post info as we get it.

As far as the 17" D2's, I do not see any availible in evo fitment currently.

i know this is an old *** post....but I see that the D2 is available in a 17x8.5 with a 25/35mm offset in 5x114.3. This should fit, yes?

We have D2's in 17x8.5 with a 25mm offset in 5x114.3

We have no yet had a chance to test this though.

We will try to do this within the next week or so and we'll report back

I have this wheels on my Mini Cooper. They are kinda heavy, but not too bad (22.2 lbs for 17x7.5").
