Has anyone needed/had their tie rod ends replaced?

Keep an eye on the Moog parts. Maybe the problem has been fixed but Moog was using a rubber boot that had a life expectancy of about 3 months - then they split.

Moog had a lot of DSM failures too.

Right now, until things are cleared up with the Moog stuff, I only recommend the OE tie rod ends if you are not running the Whiteline roll center kit.

Yes, it was Evo specific. Went on in Feb and no issues when I sold the car in July.

My 03 is around 104k and i am just getting around to changing the DS tie rod it looks like the 9 iron the bug guy bent in Happy Gilmore. My tires have been wearing kinda funny lately too. I always thought it was the fender liner a bit loose. The rod was bent becasue i took a trip down the side of a river bed avoiding some dogs(*****es). Is it too bad replaceing a tie rod?

What is the point of changing your tie rods out to something like whiteline or moonface? Do you only do if damaged, or is there a gain in it?
