Looking for black lug nuts...
These look like black Rays lugs. I'm looking for something that LOOKS similar but at a slightly cheaper cost. I believe the SSR Comps/Type C's take a BULDGE conical lug nut. I don't want a slim lug nut body like a Muteki lug nut.
Lug nut requirement:
- black (preferably in gloss)
- closed end
- buldge style
- conical seat
- 12x1.5
The closest I found was the Gorilla lug but I'm not sure if I like the slightly lengthy cap end.

I use black lugnut covers, they look like a large vacume cap and are made of rubber, they slide on over the lugnut. If you buy black lugnuts they always scuff and reveal the silver underneath. The rubber lugnut covers protect the lugnut from rusting as well, not to mention they give the lugnut a more smooth appearance. Tou can get these things many places, I picked up a pair at an off road store. about 10 dollars covered all my lugnuts

I have volk black lug nuts .... they are light as hell and have a specail tool with them so they work like wheel locks. They cost me $100 ... and I think they are worth every cent.

HUH? It appears that my very specific post wasn't specific enough.
Let me rephrase...
I'm not looking for Rays lugs.
I'm not looking to pay Rays prices ($100 for lug nuts).
I'm not looking for open ended lugs.
I'm not looking for extened lugs.
I AM looking for black lugs that look similar to Rays (or the ones pictured above).
I AM looking for BULDGE lugs not slim.
I AM looking for CLOSED end lugs.
I AM looking for SHORT lugs.

The ones in reply #13 are going to be the closest thing you'll find to what you have described.
A closed end lug nut has to be a certain length or it will not tighten down.
I would go with McGuard.
