My new WedsSport SA-70 18x10's

I love the big brown truck. Here is what arrived today:

As said in the title it is the WedsSport SA-70 in 18x10 +32. Thanks to the TireRack for getting them to me in only 1 day. I guess there are some good things about living in MI. These are going on my Apex Silver EVO for autocross season.

Actually I don't know what I will have to do to get them to fit in the rear. They fit fine in the front with a 5mm spacer. In the rear the widest I have run is a 275 tire on a 9" rim. I suppose I will have to roll the lip a little bit more and push it out maybe 1/2" or so with the roller. I may have to use a 5mm spacer in the rear too to keep the rim from hitting the lower trailing arm thing. That is my project for next week.

I just want to say a special THANK YOU to Tire Rack. Last year it was near impossible to get these rims. My friend waited like 2-3 months for some. Tire Rack has like 40 of them in stock right now. Plus I got them in ONE day.

These are gonna be my race wheels this year, I will run the 18x9.5 FN01R-C's on my street tire setup.

It will probably be a few weeks before I get on-car pics. I have to wait for my Ohlins to get back from being rebuilt/revalved and stiffer springs installed. These don't fit with the stock shocks.

Get them on quick...I'm trying to decide the size/offset for my Works XD9. I'm looking at the 18x10 +18 all around.

I am going to do as many of the regional autocross races around here, but I am planning on focussing on the CenDiv Solo2 championship and also getting ready for Nationals at the new track.

Unfortunately I don't have the $$$ to road race my car, because I know I don't yet have the restraint to keep it off the wall or out of the grass.

+18 WOW. That is going to stick out like almost 1/2" more that mine. Do you have a widebody kit? The Voltex rears? I don't think you will have any inboard clearance issues, but the outside edge of your front tires, unless they are very low profile, may rub the fender liner. Once you rub through the plastic there is a sharp piece of metal behind it that can slice grooves in your tire. Just keep a close eye on that area.
