Nitto 555

Any comments on how these tires compare to others. A everyday driver with an occasional autox here and there. Best compromise between performance, cost, and quality. Something thats comparable to the advans that we all love, but not the cost that we all dislike. I have kumho estca mx on my 18s (like them) and saw that they make them also for stock size ($121). i've done a search for nitto 555 and didnt find much about them. thanks in advance.

No experience with the Nittos, but I do have the Falken RT 615, great street/autoX tire. Many people on this board run them in 255/40 on the stock rims..

I just got 555's, a little softer than the stock advans, and not quite as much grip, i might have to play w/ air pressure a little, but then again, I just got my alignment done, so that could be the reason why the car feels so different now.

When replacing with non Advans just make sure your tire choice has stiff sidewalls. That was an important feature Mitsu asked of Advan.

Not much will grip like the Advan.
