Smile What's the offset for 18" 18 x 7.5 wheel?

Does anybody know what offset I would need if I put 18" 18 x 7.5 wheels
on my car? Would this wheel even clear the brakes? I have a 2003 evo VIII.
thanks

I'm sure you could find some that would clear the brakes, all depending on the offset and the style of spokes..... You driving in the snow?

Not trying to disagree with you but many wheels with the same size and offset may or may not clear the calipers. Some spokes are "a", "r"....and theres at least one more spoke type. In simple words, some spokes are straight, convex, concave, etc. Depending on the spoke style, it may or may not fit.

You can look at TE37 (Volk), some spokes from the center bulge outwards then back in towards the lip
Another TE37 wheel can have the same size/offset but spokes are straight.
Heres another style...... TE37 same size/offset can have the concave look......
Pics:
Convex:

Concave:

All three from the example can have the same offset while some will clear the caliper, some won't.

Hope this helps. The wheel may not have been the best choice but maybe you'll get the idea. Sorry for the bad pics, you may not be able to tell....

Stock wheels are 8 wide... i WOULD NOT go to a 7.5 plus i doubt they'll make a wheel in a 7.5 to clear the brakes. if you wanna go 18, do at least an 18x8 25-35mm offset would work just fine...
