17x9+35 w/1.3 in. Drop Rubber

I have an '03 with the Eibach Pro Kit (1.3 in. drop front and rear) with Enkei RP02's (17x9 +35 offset) and want some good-looking, good-gripping rubber. The Falken RT-615's are VERY tempting.

Can I fit 255/40x17s? What is the best contact patch I can mount? If I have to roll the rear fenders I'll consider it but I really don't want to have to adjust height, etc. If you've had success with a spec-size of tire please let me know your alignment settings as well.

Thanks!

255-40-17 should be fine, but nothing bigger.

Yeah, haven't seen many 255's w/out some type of fender mods being made. A more common upgrade is 245/40-17. Many have used that size with great results.

Thanks Neal - what are the tradeoffs in running 245s over 255s. Taller sidewall? Smaller contact patch? etc., etc.?
