Summer tires opinions

My advans are gone. I managed to get 12,000 or so miles on them.
I am looking for summer tires that grips well in the dry and wet.
And these are going on stock rims.

I searched everything about tires on this forums. So I did my homework.

These are what I thought about:
Toyo Proxes T1-R
Toyo Proxes T1-S
Bridgestone Potenza RE750

What do you think? Any suggestions?

Eagle F1 GS-D3 - $159/ea at www.tirerack.com - superior performance wet and dry. or if you're on more of a budget check out the kumho ecsta mx ($113/ea).

FYI, Toyo Proxes T1-S's have been discontinued, so you may have a hard time finding those. T1-R replaced them. I'd recommend the Toyo's.

Turbo Ghost...I live in SoCal and I wouldn't consider any of the tires on your list unless I was budget constrained. I drive my car fairly hard, and my last three sets of tires only lasted 5-6,000 miles each. I like the Advan Neova AD07, Advan A046, BFG KD, and Falken RT-615 in that order of preference. I'm looking forward to trying the new Bridgestone RE-O1R that is due out in late April...or the Nitto NT-01. Top tier tires are what allow an Evo to peform amazingly...Big $$$$ is what it costs to feed a hungry Evo new tires. IMHO.

Sine your original post says nothing about $$$, I'm with ranmonbu, good tires are key. My personal preference order is: ADVAN Neova's, Potenza S-03's and ADVAN 046's (all available in a 235/45/17 size). Depending on what kind of mileage you expect to get out of them, you could also try Toyo RA-1's in full tread depth (8/32nds). They won't last that long, but they'll out perform any other tires listed on this page, and have good wet traction performance when the tread depth is still decent. Cheaper than the other tires as well.

I see there are some good choices here. Thanks.
It's tough to find a good tire for the Evo.
I don't want to spend a ton of money on tires. I was hoping to keep under $160 per tire or so. I should of mentioned it earlier. Sorry about that.

I like the RT-615, but kind of worried about putting 255/40-17 on stock rims.

I looked at www.lancerregister.com forums and the Toyo T1-R are popular there.

I read that Falken is bringing over the Fk452 tires. Another choice?
I found some info and review here:
FK452 review

FK452 Technical Specs

More choices and decisions to make.

I'm daily driving my RA1s to get them down to 4/32nd since there was a mistake and they weren't shaved. I love these things on the street, I might just buy another unshaved set to put on my other wheels and keep using them as street tires.
