Widest wheel & offset on stock struts?
Ok guys, I looked I'll be damned if I can find the answer to this question. I'm sure the answer was right in front of my face at one point or another and I just missed it with all the threads that exist on subjects close to this. So, here it is:
What is the widest 17" or 18" wheel and offset that will fit on an Evo running the factory struts while still allowing to rotate tires, not rub, and not have some goofy offset that makes it torque steer? 9" 9.5"? what and what offset?
I don't mind rolling fenders and massaging fender liners to get clearance and using spacers if I have to.
If there is a thread (and I'm sure there is) that has this info right up front and you don't have to go through page after page to find it a link will work.
Thanks in advance.

My 17x9 with a 38mm offset were VERY tight with 255/40R17 RA1s on the stock struts. There was still more room to go out towards the fender, especially if you rolled the rears.
