FYI, +29 is the minimal offset to get that GTR faced look on Advan RG2s and RSs. An offset higher than +29 will not achieve that concaved look from Advan.

A lot of Japanese enthusiasts run +29 (sometimes even lower offsets) and +35 offset, its often called "reverse stagger" setup for better grip at AutoX, mountain (Touge) or Track Events.

just run 245 - 35 tires and you should be Ok . I think its much better to run 245s than 235 on a 9" wide rim

Yeah I have seen the reverse stagger setup. It is just going to add more oversteer that some guys are looking for. I think that it would look kind of weird, but if it is the feel the driver is looking for then it is an easy way to get it. I am just looking for a street app so I think that I would stay with +29 all around. Any pics of RSs out there????

Do a search on Mr. Suave's car. He has the Advan RS's in gunmetal on hi red EVO with the 29 offset and GTR face.

Hopefullly my wheels will be here by the end of next week and we can put this discussion to a end. I'll have to order tires first though.

I'm not sure. Nothing too expensive cause I'm gonna buy some Tien Basics just in case I need to raise my car up a little. Tire Rack has those Dunlop's Dizzera's (sp) for a good price. If not, I'll put some Kumho ASX's on them. I wish Kumho made teh MX's in a 255/35.

You have any suggestions for a nice tire that won't cost 250 bucks each?

You'll get the face you want, by going 18x9.5 with 35 offset all the way around, running 255 tires.

BFG KDW's I got my 255/35's for $177 each. Excellent tires. Check tire rack...and look at their ratings for this tire, they came in at #1 ahead of our stock Advan's (although I think the stock Advan's are a tad bit stickier).

Yeah....I know. I'm not really wanting to go that wide though. Plus...these wheels are sitting there with my name on them. If I don't like the way they look or don't fit to my liking, I'll sell them. Can't hurt to try.

I thought about those as well. I have a guy that can probably get me a hook up some tires. If he falls through, I'll be getting some kind of tire from TireRack.
