Camber kit

Hey I just got back from an autocross day and I experienced considerable wear on the outsides of my front tires. I was considering a camber kit for better cornering and to reduce this type of wear. I found what I thought was a good deal on one here http://www.drivewire.com/Performanc...camberkits.html and I didn't know if anyone had tried them. Also I was wondering if it would be a big hassle to change them for track days and then back for regular driving. Any comments would be appreciated.

Link isn't working...

Wear on the outside edges is a sure sign you could use more negative camber. We've always had success with Cusco Camber plates...

As for changing them for track days and then back for regular driving...thats not entirely necessary. You can get away with a good amount of negative camber on the street just fine without excessive wear. Toe is what you need to worry about.

Someone always used to say to me:

"Camber decides where the tire wear occurs, toe decides how much it will wear."

Both, and on a couple different cars too. EVO, STi, WRX, 2.5RS, heck...even a Subaru Forester or two. Cusco has never let us down...

If you read carefully they don't say they're selling camber plates for $25. In fact, they don't make it clear what they're selling, probably just eccentric bolts, which you already have. Further, their product is meant to get you back to factory specs after lowering the car, not take you beyond them. If you can't get enough negative camber from the stock suspension you need to fork out $200 or so for camber plates. Good spherical bearings alone are more than $25!
