Some people with Evo7s have tried the S03PP and didn't like them...

They have a 140 tread wear......they're going to be STI tires..from what I saw at the motor show ....I guess it's gonna need all the help it can get

Actually the STi is getting the RE070 tires.

This may help all of you decide on tires...I competed in an autocross this past Sunday and registered in a class of all MODIFIED cars with my STOCK Evo 8. There were modded WRX's and others and I WON with my bone stock car! These tires are absolutely amazing....I have driven on almost every type of tire and think this one is very well tuned to the Evo 8 and it's handling. Stick with the A046.

By the way...I work for The Tire Rack, so I have driven almost everything.

anyone try these:

So, you can get us some great deals on them, right? I'm sure that a lot of people on here would be willing to do a major group buy for the right price.

Tire Rack's prices are usually so low, there's no margin left to take out... I've talked to several tire installers who said TR's prices are lower than what the installer's distributor charges. The economics of scale
