Brembo service bulliten

Just went to mitsu to pick up a exhaust manifold gasket and ask them about the blistering of the calipers. Well i just happen to run into the regional and he said that mitsu is replacing any calipers that are blistering or have the paint peeling for free. My car goes in monday to have all four replaced, this shocked me since mitsu pays 1,500 per rotor.

after all the headaches i have gone through about my calipers (going to arbitration, months of waiting and then having the replacement denied) i find this hard to believe! please, anyone in the mid-atlantic region who has had any success with this post up!

Good looks! Is this definitely nationwide, or is your dealer just special?

This is nationwide, the regional rep said that they're replacing them becaue it is not costing them, they are covered under warrenty by brembo. They told me to tell all evo owners that i know in colorado to take they cars in if their calipers are peeling.

if mitsu is buying brembos for 1500 a corner I would be very surprised. I doubt it averages 150 per corner.

Sweet! When I bought mine it looks like they tried to use cheap paint to cover it up, so I have parts of mine that are practically pink. Definitely going to try to take it in, thanks for the heads up!

More info would help. I've asked my mitsu service guy if they would cover mine and he just smiled and said "no".

I asked my mitsu dealer and they told me that they would repaint them for me under warranty...... I would much better like them to replace, if possible

Psst. It's a lot more than 1500.
