Would these fit?

To make a kinda long story short I ordered so wheels for the my Evo in size 18x9 with an offset of 40. They did not fit. Did not even come close to clearing the brake calipers on the front. I am in the process of taking them back and getting something else. Now here is the question. I had read that some 18x9 with 40 offset fit the Evo, that is why I got them. Obviously not all 18x9 40 offset will fit. My nezxt choice is an 18x8 with an offset of 30. They are MB Weapon Wheels. I am hesitant though thinking that not all 18x8's with 30 offset with fit. Will these wheels fit on my car? I did some searching but there is so much info there and I don't want to look through it all. Thanks in advance!

It will also depend on type of spoke you get. For example, Volk has what they call a type 2 wheel. Work has r-spokes and a-spokes. For better examples, spokes can be flat, convex or concave...... Best deal is to call the vendor and ask....or do a test fitment before you purchase the wheel. Theres pictures of my g35 and EVO with staggered fitments and staggered offsets on both cars on my profile link.

I have to check the MB's but I'm reading you need a 18x9 +15MM ? Discount says the 18x8 +30 will fit.

The wheels that would not fit had a good sized lip on them. The spokes really curved inward (towards the middle of the wheel). They where Voxx Misanos. The spokes just curve inward way to much. The lip on the wheel is over 2 inches deep, and that is just to the front of the spoke. The inner part of the spoke actually makes contact with the rim closer to the center of wheel then the mounting surface. I think I am going to give the MB wheels a try. They have 10mm less offset and the spokes look like they don't curve inward to much and they only have a small lip on them. I have already arranged for the non fitting wheels to be picked up and shipped back to them, getting a full refund in the process, but I hesitate to order something else from them thinking that maybe it won't fit either.

Sorry for the delay answering your question. I had to get home to get my info. The MB motorsports weapon wheel is made in Japan by A-Tech corp and is called the Final Speed Eraser. I've been told by A-tech that a 18x8 +35 will fit however. Hope this helps.

if u want to run 18x9 size, the offset should be between +29 to +35. If the spokes are flat, +35 might not clear. just keep that in mind..

Yeah, these MB wheels that I am thinking of going with are an 18x8 with a +30 offset so I am pretty sure they will fit. The 18x9 that would not fit had inward curving spokes and an offset of +40.

Thanks for the info. That is the wheel I am going to go with. The offset on the ones I ordered was a +30. I can use a spacer if needed, as long as they get close it is fine with me. The 18x9 +40's were so far off I would have needed like a 20mm spacer, even then the studs are not long enough.
