Project Mu SCR-Pro pictures

Ladies and Gents...

Finally, my 2-piece front rotors have arrived. Since I haven't really seen these on this forum so I'd post a few pics.

Sorry in advance for the crappy pics. It's raining outside and the A520 isn't the hottest thing around for these sorts of pics.

Front view:

From the inside:

Gap detail - sort of discontinuos vanes:

Bolt detail - simple socket head and plain washer:

I'll probably make some better pics soon and will weigh them tomorrow.

Nice.

Which vendor did you pick them up from?

An picture of how it looks behind a bronze TE37. I thought the colours would clash badly, but look okay IMO.

awesome rotors, very clean. I like slotted > drilled/cross-drilled. How much do those rotors cost retail?

they're actually straight vaned... the orientation shouldn't matter unless the rotors are ruffed a certain direction.

so im confused..some people have the cross drilled sections going in the opp direction..is there a big diff in having them like that or how your set is? from what i've heard, braking is increase somewhat having them in the the other direction..No? thanks.

Well, I was worried about direction also. There was (L) and (R) on the boxes, but that doesn't mean that some joker hasn't opened them up and swapped them round, specially at customs - it has happened before to my shocks! Anyway, found this picture on their site so I thin I'm going the correct way... I hope!!

I think, however, that the rotation sense actually goes according to the cooling vanes (as trinydex pointed out). The grooves are, I think, are there to clean the pads but I could be wrong...

Well, my work server won't let me attache things for some reason. Anyway, still haven't had the chance to bed them in yet. Have to do it at 3 in the morning on an empty road...
