Affordable Press for Suspension Bushings

I'm looking for the most affordable, but well-made press for removing my OEM suspension bushings and pressing in my Energy Suspension bushings. Although I'm interested in affordable shortcuts to doing the job, I want the appropriate tool so that I could press bushings for other Evo owners to help recoup the cost of the tool. Could someone post a link to a the right tool. After estimating what it would cost to have a shop do it, I'd rather buy the tool and do it myself.

For you other budget minded folks: How did you get it done for the least amount of $?

Well, a 10ton should do you fine and some more. Even a 6ton would be sufficient.

I'd say:
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...temnumber=1666
or
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=44811
or
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...temnumber=4711

However, what you'll need after that will be the special tools to press the things out and then the new ones in. These will look like pipes and a plate to support the thing and push the bush in and out. I think you'll have to make these from scratch cos the parts are a little unusual, specially the suspension links themselves.

I've done a fair few bushing in my time(although none on a Evo) and I've only ever used a good bench vice and some sockets. I used to buy the sockets cheap and not care if i damaged them.

Well, I decided to get this one, which was on sale for $103: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=33497 It only took fifteen or twenty minutes to assemble and I can use it for my car and then do a few Evo side jobs with it to help it pay for itself.

If anyone else wants a great deal on pressing in/out your suspension bushings or motor mounts, let me know.

I was gonna suggest the 12 ton....thats what I used for my entire car. Motor mounts, suspension bushings and rear diff. You gotta get creative with the rear upper arms though, they are funky.
