Just mounted Advan AO48's

As an addition to the Tein Flex coilovers, these tires are super grippy. I put them on my stock MR wheels. I got the medium compound vs. the medium hard compound, and I know they won't last me too long on the street. But for anyone looking for a lot more grip, it's a great mod.

What size did you get them and from where? I thought they only came in 18" sizes in the US...

You SERIOUSLY bought A048s for the street? Hope it doesn't rain.

I think that's a waste of money and a dumb idea to run r-compounts on the street, but hey, it's your car.

Which should be rare in Seattle

Trust me, you don't want to run these on the street.

If you really want to throw your money away on expensive JAY-DEE-EM yo tires, at least go with Yokohama ADVAN Neova tires. They are just as expensive and JDM bling as the A048s but also have the common sense factor of not running an r-comp on the street.

Ok, do you understand why running an r-compound tire on the street is dumb and a waste of money?

I want them too, since you can get stock size. Another member said they weren't to bad in the rain if you take it easy.
