i'm debating between 245/40/18 and 255/40/18....
with the 245/40/18, i have significantly more choices... but the 255 fits better i think..?
or other sizes too? some help..
FYI my car is lowered about 1.5 inch front and 1 inch rear...

 

255 stick out just a bit, 245 give a trapaziod look, if you are lowered that much i guess it would be better to go 245

 

I ordered the wrong size tire for my 18x8.5 rims (255/40/18's) - they rub when the wheel is in full lock. Should have been 255/35/18.

If you're not familiar with it, go to 1010tires.com and use their tire size calculator.

245/40/18 or 255/35/18 would be correct on your wheel.

 

deff 35 on 18s but if u go 17s then go for 40s

For 18x8.5 wheels.. we usually use 245-40-18. we use 255-35-18 for 18x9.

 

yea i'm leaning to 245/40/18 more... with a 25mm offset they shouldnt rub...
can anyone post pics of 18 x 8.5 wheels with different sizes tires?
