True weight of 5 Zigen FN01RC's?
I see on Machevo.com they're rated 19.4 lbs for 17x9 then I see threads with 17x8's rated at 15.x lbs...is the extra 1 inch width really 4 lbs? I'm looking for a 15 lb wheel in a 17x8...anyone know the true weigth of the 17x8 5 Zigen FN01RC?

According to http://www.xcceleration.com/wheel.chart.htm, 17x8's are 16.5 lbs. Just go for the fno1r's (without the "c") because they're forged. The fno1rc's are cast.

All of the following are strong and less than 16lbs in 17x8:
Enkei RPF1
Kosei K1-TS
Weds Sport TC-005
I have the 17x8 RPF1s for street. I crashed into a curb and it took a little chunk out but the wheels didn't bend.

I was looking into the Enkei's as well...right now its a toss up cause the more sites I check the more variations on weight I see, one site said 15 lbs for the 5Zigen's (cast version) so shouldn't the forged be even lighter? Can't picture that cast wheel being 15lbs in a 17x8...

expertise? i just wonder where you base this from. for as long as i can remember dori dori himself has always had a 5zigen on his racing suit.
as compared to enkei i feel that expertise is a sack of crap as we all know that the rpf1 flexes in a size that is supposed to shoe a certain width rubber. that's expertise finely failed.
the heavier 5zigen in 9.5 is heavier but also does not flex when shoed with the same rubber.
i think at some point we all have to compromise with either the weight factor or the price factor.
i just really wish that enkei didn't have this little problem.
