No, the 3mm spacer would put you at +26mm offset. Lower offsets stick out farther, so spacing them out 3mm will effectively decrease the offset of the wheel.

Danny23, badhabit90 - We apologize for all the confusion and disappointemnt regarding the wheels. We weren't aware of this issue, until now as the +29mm was a "good" fitment when we first started selling the wheels a few years ago. Now that offset/lip appears to be ever so slightly too close to the front calipers The +3mm spacers we are overnighting will completely fix the caliper clearance issue. As for any rubbing concerns, yes, the effective offset becomes a +26, which is defintely low, but 3mm won't significantly increase any rubbing that wasn't already there. Luckily (if we can still use that word), the front fenders do allow for more tire clearance than the rears, so we expect the results to be satisfactory

If there are any other questions/concerns, please let us know. We very much want everyone to be satisfied with their purchases with us... especially special order items that take this long to receive.

Thanks

Max

well my spacers that were supposed to be overnighted to me today never came. yesterday when i called gruppe-s to make sure the spacers were overnighted they told me the order went out and apologized for the mistake, like i said in a previous post oh well what are you gonna do!. like i said they said the spacers were sent out monday to be recieved by me today and they took my phone number in case any problems came up. well nobody called me,when i called today i spoke to Max who said that the wheel shop was closed on monday and that my spacers were sent out today. why didnt anyone call me if they took my number to tell me that the wheel shop was closed and the spacers were being overnighted today especially when they told me monday that the order was sent out already. i sure as hell hope they come tomorrow. Max was very apologetic about the mistake but that doesnt make up for the fact i was told they were on theyre way when they were never even mailed out. i give up!

i got the spacers today and will be (hopefully) putting the rims on tonight. They are 3MM spacers and i just hope they clear the calipers. Mark from Gruppe-s PMed me today with a sincere apology about what happened and said there is no excuse for it and told me he would personally take care of me with my next order from them. His apology definetely seemed sincere and i accepted it as Mark seems like a gentleman. When i put the wheels on the first time, or attempted to they just barely hit the caliper so i,m hoping the 3MM spacer does it.I,ll post results tonight.Hopefully good results.

Personally, i would have sent them back and have them order the correct wheel. For the amount of money you spent on those wheels, they should make it right and order you the +31 with hi disk clearance.

I was thinking about that but they were already mounted and balanced and if the 3MM spacers clear the calipers i guess all is foregotten,if they dont clear well thats a different story. Watta ya gonna do? **** happens!

the spacers didnt clear the calipers, even when doubled up. But Max at Gruppe-s made it right by me. I will be doing buisiness with them in the future for sure. He sent me a pair of +31 offset from another group buy(left over) and they fit perfect, the lip is about less than a half inch narrower but you cant really notice it unless your looking for it. But he is gonna send me another pair when he gets the next shippment of +31 offset so they will match perfectely.BTW i was lucky that he had the pair in stock(only ones left) incase your wondering why he didnt send me out 4 wheels

i know of one other member who had the same exact problem as me and Max at Gruppe-s took care of him. Ordering him the +31 offset also. I think it was just me and him.

BTW all is well the wheels are on the car and they look fantastic and no rubbing anywhere with the Bridgestone REO50A pole position,s in 245x40. i,ve only driven about 15 miles on them so far but the difference is day and night. The car rides quieter, smoother, handles better and look great. I,m so glad i took Neal,s advice (tire rack) in picking these tires over my other choices. MIch. PS2, BS RE-O1R. I,ll get my alignment this coming week and i,m set.
