Squeal/howl when making left turns

Lately, I've been hearing my car (specifically the front) make a squealing/howling noise when I make a low speed left turn, like coming into a parking spot. It's almost exactly like a low brake pad noise, but not as high pitch. My brake pads are probably running out right now, but the noise still happens when I don't even use the brake. Can you guys throw some suggestions to me as to what it may be, before I have time to take it to the shop? Thanks.

Hmm, t-case...I don't launch the car at all, but I do make hardshifts pretty often. What else can cause the t-case to wear out?

The 03 I belive are shimmed improperly from the factory but they will noe tell you that. I am going through the same thing they are blameing it on me and my driving took it to a shop had them look at my TC and he said the wear on the ring and pinion are due to improper shimming. I would say it is the TC going out and belive me it is going to be expensive unless your lucky enough to get a good dealer that will warranty. Good luck

Not really what I wanna hear. What do you mean improperly shimmed? What causes it to wear out like this?
