Pzero Rosso vs. Yoko Advan Sport. Comments?

Is anyone using the Pzero Rosso? Any comments? I did a search and some people said good things about it, but I found no thread specifically about this tires. This is the only high performance tires readily available where I live aside from the Yokohama Advan Sport.

How about the Yokohama Advan Sport? Any comments? In the tirerack web site there are lots of good reviews about the Pzero and good reviews about the Yokohama Advan Sport. However there was maybe one or two reviews from EVO owners.

If someone is using either Pzero Rosso or Yoko Advan Sport, I appreciate the comments. Thanks.

I drive the stock Advans and they are great! I used to have Pirelli PZero Rosso and they were as good as the Advans in every aspect, the only problem I found is that they didn't last long, not even 10 months!

Did your stock car came with stock Advans Sport?

That is what I hear, the Pzero´s are great but do not last very long. How was the Pzero´s on the rain?

My personal vote would be for the Yoko. Pirelli's have a tendency to wear super fast, be quite noisy, and aren't the best wet tires around. Lots more success with the Yoko.

The reason I asked about the Yoko Advan Sport is that they are relatively new and the EVO's in the US comes with a diferent model.

How are these Yoko Advan Sport compared to the stock EVO tires?

I was interested in the answer to this question as well. The ADVAN sport does not look as grippy as the A046 but it may have a little better treadwear. I'm thinking I'm gonna put ADVAN sports on my car next unless someone posts a reason to go with a different tire.

ADVAN A046 OEM $252.00

235/45 WR17
93W SL 160 A A
1433 lbs.
44 psi
9/32"
25 lbs. 7.5-9"
8"
9.4"
8.6"
25.3"
822

ADVAN Sport $168.00

235/45 YR17
97Y RF 180 AA A
1609 lbs.
50 psi
24 lbs. 0-0"

ADVAN Neova AD7 $185.00 also comes in a few sizes that are close. It's a 180 AA A tire as well. IT looks like the closest diameter match is this one but it's still a little off.

225/45 WR17
91W SL 180 AA A
1356 lbs.
51 psi
10/32"
25 lbs. 7-8.5"
7.5"
8.9"
8.5"
24.9"
835

You are lucky!! You know how much the Yoko Sports costs down here?
R$1100,00 which is equal do US$500,00 (five hundred american dollars) PER TIRE! Sooo the longer the life of the tire, the better for me.

I read in the tire thread that we can use the 245/40 17 as well, it is a little wider. The ADVAN Sport comes in that size too.

I read on some threads that the NEOVA has the best handling on the rain, do you know any comparissons between the ADVAN Sport and the NEOVA for the rain?
