BTW - Doesn't it feel like the UPS Man is Santa Clause? Whenever I have parts come in and I see Mr. UPS dressed in his trademark brown shorts and shirt I get that feeling a little kid gets on Christmas Eve.
Maybe it's just me though.........

But I really want to know if the Falken Azenis RT615 245/40 would fit without any rubbing issue??

Look up on Tire Rack. There are plenty of 255/35 tires on there......PLENTY. If your gonna go with a wide wheel, get a wide tire IMO.

BTW......a 245 will be stretched a little, but I had 245's on my 8.5" Volks and had rubbing issues with S-Tech's while turning full lock and hitting dips in the road. Also, a 255/35 will be the closest to the stock tire size.

I run 255/35/18 BFG KDW's on 18x9 Advan's... they ride awesome and handle very well. They look great too IMO...

I highly recommended them. Just be aware that they are a noisy tire.

Here are pics of my car with 255/35 Yokohama AVS ES100's on my RG 2's. They are not too skinny by any means.

i know the feeling. Especially cause... the box usually has the company name printed on it in huge letters.... and it seems like it takes forever for Santa UPS to walk up the damn driveway. i think i one time i offered to carry my **** up the drive way myself just so i would have it faster.

It rubbed a little int he rear, but I eventually had the rear fenders rolled. These tires don't rub at full lock nor do the rub when hitting nice dips in the road. A 255/35 is actually smaller in diameter than a 245/40 so that helps. Tires will vary in size even though they say they are the same size, but the AVS's were exactly the same size as the stock Advans.

Nice choice, I have the Falken 615's 245/40 with Tein S-Techs and I rub up front. The rubbing is not much at all and it only happens on u-turns. I think if you run a less aggressive spring you will be fine.

The reason why I never went with a 255/35 is because I didn't like any tire in that size either and a 245/40 is much better for handling compared to a 255/35. Yes I've ran both sizes.

A 245 is not stretched at all. I thought the same thing at first, but I was wrong as well. The 245 matches up perfectly just like Cal told me it would

You have to remember it's not just the size you want to look at it's the overall diameter that matters most. The Falken 615 in a 245/40 will not be stretched at all.
