Nail in tire w/ just 2900 miles on car? What to do?

i've done track days and autocrosses on a tire with a plugged nail hole. its not a big deal. watch the tire pressures and you'll be fine.

Yeah, if the plug or patch is on the center, but since its near the sidewall it might explode if he takes a corner to fast.

thats not a real swift idea.

if it's patched from the inside, that might be something else, but if it's plugged, you don't wanna track it. (one of them 152 things they don't wanna see, and i wouldn't wanna be caught with on track).

auto-x? sure, but at 125+

I had one in my stocky at maybe 1500-2000 miles, went to have it plugged, and alas, it wasn't even all the way through, soapy water = no leaks = awesome.
