Enkei NT03+m setup

I was considering running Enkei NT03+m wheels 17x9.5 5x114.3 with 44mm offset with a 275/40-17 nt01 tire. After searching I couldn't find what spacers(if any) I would need to clear the front brakes. I was also wondering how much massaging of the inner fender and lip I would have to do. This would be run on a stock suspension MR which sooner or later will be upgraded to coil-overs.

Also, is there a benefit to running 18s besides the bling and potential to have bigger brakes? I believe someone told me that they were a bit lighter than the 17s in the nt03+m, but I'd rather save the money on smaller rims/tires because these will specifically be for track days.

if you plan on running 17x9.5 +44mm NT03+M wheels, you would need to run at least 10mm spacers. 44mm add 10mm would push out the wheel to 34mm, i would like to think this setup will clear the stock brembo just fine but can't be sure. The safest bet is go w/ H&R 15mm spacers (this setup usually comes w/ extended studs) up front and 10mm spaces for the rear, and this would push out the wheel to +29mm offset (front) and +34mm rear without having to roll the rear fenders.

good luck

Thank you, sir. Does anyone on here run these wheels that can confirm the 10mm spacers?

Get in contact with robi @ robispec. He has installed more of these exact wheels on Evo's than anyone. Hell know exactly what spacers you need and might even be able to sell them to you.

I'd rather wait and see if he posts in here to help future evo owners that might consider this setup.

The benefit to the 18's is running a 285/30 which has a shorter sidewall. It will give you better turn in, steering response, and grip. A 275/40/17 has a pretty big sidewall compared to the 18" fitments that are 275/35 and 285/30. The only downside is added cost obviously.

the 17X9.5+44 clears the brakes without spacers.....now struts/rear links thats another problem...rear I use 4mm (and use the stock studs) front anything from 5 to 30mm depending on the intended use the car will be seeing which coilover(if any) and fender mods.....

The intended use of the car with these wheels would be for road racing. The events here are anything from 1 up to 3 mile courses. I might even hit up an autocross from time to time.

I have no problem with cutting/rolling the inner fender lips. Is this enough information to know what front spacer is needed? Thanks.

M3This - 18x9.5 +27 offset 12 mm spacer
Nils - 18x9.5 +40 offset 15mm spacer
Evasive Evo - 18x9.5 +27 10mm spacer
Gabriel - "Corvette setup" even more confusing lol

I recently purchased 17x9.5 +44 and was recommended a 20mm spacer front and 4mm spacer in the back.

I know the purpose of the spacers is to help clear suspension and other rubbing issues, but why all of the different setups? Can someone explain to me the correlation between calculating spacers to an offset?

Corvette fitment NTO3+M 18x9.5 +58 offset. Wheel adapters at 28mm front and 18mm rear. For better front coilover clearance and rear trailing arm clearance I would prefer a 30mm and 20mm adapter...what was sent to me is what i'm stuck with.

Offset in MM - adapter thickness in MM = Final offset.

Lower the final offset, the further out the wheel is pushed. Example: ET40 wheel with a 10mm spacer = ET30.

A 40 offset rear is common, and fits well. Depending on your ride height and alignment settings a 275 width tire may "polish" your trailing arm under hard cornering. It does on mine.

I'm getting too tired to keep typing..If you have any questions im me. -Gabe
