Tire rotation..(bald in back?)
To make a long story short, after a few canyon runs to palomar mountain. And a few thousand miles my front advans are both worn down on the inside and out. But my rears are in decent shape.
Now to get the max life out of my tires i wanted to put the decent tires in the front and the bald ones in the back. Im too broke to get tires for the next few weeks (just finished paying off the car in full) so i need to stretch the tire life as long as i can.
So should i move the good wheels/tires to the front?
or leave the good tires in the back till the front shows wire??

AWD cars with a 50/50 center torque split will always wear the front tires down first. This is because the front tires receive 50% of the torque and also have to manage to steer the car at the same time, which presents extra amounts of load on the front tires. Having to Rotate the worn front tires to the rear is normal practice for Evo's.

Rotating the tires every 5K miles is something I have always believed in and continue to practice. If your front tires are bald compared to your rears, I wouldn't switch them around but save up every last penny for some new tires. Putting bald tires on the back is just asking for the rear end to snap around in a very un-evolike manner.

I switched my bald fronts to the rear, and last week, I flew around a corner and my back went sliding out. Not too bad though, I just kept it floored and rocovered it... .but ya, just be more careful obviously.
