How do I make an EVO handle like this?

What would be some good mods to make an evo handle like the EVO FQ400 in this video? Is it possible to make it handle like this?

EVO vs Lambo Murcielago

I'm coming from a wrx, and am looking for an AWD car that can oversteer easily, and pull itself out of corners.

Yeh...I was thinking it had AYC on it as well...US EVO's still dont get that, correct? I'm sure the AYC is a big contributor to its handling.

US Evo's do not get SAYC. Im sure a really good set of coilovers w/ proper alignment could get you close to that though.

Just my oppinion, but S-AYC doesn't make a car handle better, but makes a bad driver seem better by helping out a bit.

+1, there are a few on here that specialize in handling, and could probably make the car handle even better. i.e. Robispec, Meullerized coilovers, ect. Congrats on the evo by the way, you wont be left wanting to get it to handle better.

Thanks guys...I don't necessarily want the car to handle better per se...since sliding slows you down usually....I just like to slide around a lil bit more. A rear sway will def decrease traction in the rear and let me go into tricycle mode Some added negative camber should increase front grip and also help with oversteer. You guys are absolutely right about the EVO handling amazingly outa the box...I just wanna decrease the grip a bit...

Mod the driver ... a stock EVO can be made to over or understeer, just play around with tire pressures and you will be surprised.

Im finding this out the more that I autoX. Trail braking will cause this as well as increased tire pressure in the rear like you said. More pressure in the rear will help increase oversteer if that is how you want the car to react.

trend in the uk to remove s-ayc system on track cars. I'd say with a LSD + good suspension and an awesome alignment you could do alot better than a stock fq.

Good job, you'll also find other ways to kick the rear out using side to side weight shifting and with the right pressures you can get lift throttle oversteer , wait til you get comfortable with the rear kicking out, then the real fun beings.

I just find that most drivers who complain about understeer are either used to completely different handling dynamics or just don't have the experience to know what they are talking about.

Yeah I am definately getting more comfortable with throwing the car around. Finding it much easier to make myself push the car towards its limits now then when I first got it, although I still have a long way to go. AutoX has taught me a lot. I would really like to attend an HPDE when the time comes.
