I am always looking for something better but, in this case...

For $10.40 per 12 oz., and virtually the same specs, I think that I will stick with the AMSOIL Series 600 Racing Brake Fluid

Thanks for your time,

Doc

1.15 oz per dollar vs .7 oz per dollar. yes its more expensive, yet not even twice the cost. And from peoples reviews, hardly the same specs. How often have you guys needed to bleed the amsoil, after every track day?

But I guess if I were paid by a company to use a certain product I would reccomend it too. lol

A: The Secs are within a few degrees.. I checked, maybe you should. Reviews are no Specs.

B: Show me where AMSOIL needs to be bled after a track day.

C: I am not paid by anyone to use anything, and I sell to Forum Members at my cost so I am hardly trying to just sell a product.

Indeed. Id be interested to see which fluid takes up water quicker, and which one is more compressible.

What type of fluid would you guys recommend for a daily driven street Evo? I don't want to be flushing the system every season, and I don't need crazy high boiling points. OEM Mitsubishi fluid? This is on a IX.

Hooray for bumping old threads!

Go to an auto parts store - get the Vavoline DOT3/4 -- its cheap and works great for DD.

I used to run Motul RBF 600 ... ended up almost losing my brakes at an HPDE (PFC97 pads). Fortunately I got the soft pedal prior to the big straight and managed to limp into the pits. I have run SRF since with no issues (other than rapidly darkening calipers ...dark brown for now).
