For those who installed Swift springs on MR.. Please read..

i'm about to install Swift springs on my MR. I couldn't find intructions on how to install using Swift springs, but I'm sure it's going to be pretty similar to one that's posted on How-to section.
My question is, does Swift require to cut of OEM bump stop? Since it didn't come with shorter bump stop like Hotchkis one. Or am I ok to keep OEM bump stop as is?
Thanks.

I have searched, and find some people cut off OEM bump stop and some didn't.
If there's no difference, I would prefer to keep OEM bump stop as is. Unless, there's advantage of cutting off bump stop with Swift springs.

You do not need to cut them (as per Swift USA). I don't.

GTWORX is right. I called Swift USA and they told me the same.

Not to hijack the thread, but to install the swifts...you would install with the word "swift" reading right side up?

Usually progressive wound springs are designed so that the tightly wound coils are on the chassis end of the strut rather than the suspension arm end (so as to minimize unsprung weight).
