18x9.5 (+38) 275/35/18's Minimum allowable clearance?

I test fitted a set of RP01's today. Im still on stock suspension, the wheels fit perfect without any touching or rubbing. I noticed on the rear, the tires were about 5mm away from touching the rear control arm. In the front, the tires were about 4mm away from the inside strut. Are these clearances sufficient for any sort of aggressive driving?

did you check if you're gonna hit the calipers in the front?

I'm running the work emotions in that same offset, 18 X 9.5 and 275s. I only get rubbing when I drive the car really hard. No metal rubbing, just a little rub on the plastic. They barely clear the calipers, probably 2-3mm of clearance. I'm running Bilstein coils.

The RP01's have super clearance. I tried both a 8.5 and 9.5. the 8.5 had about 4mm clearance the 9.5 had at least 5mm clearance from the calipers.

I actually weighed them against my BBS MR's. The 17" BBS weighed in at 44.4lbs with tires. My RP01 weighed in at 49.2lbs with tires. All of them have equal % of tread, but i do know that different tire brands weigh more than others. either weigh i think a gain of 5 lbs for wider tires, is a decent trade off.
