brakes squealing

I have a 2006 Evo IX which is only a month old, however, intermitently, the brakes would squeal when slowing down to park the car or backing off from parking. Anyone out there has experience something similar?

Thanks in advance for any info!

yeah i have had my IX MR since July and have the same issue, haven't got ti looked at yet though. Mitsu says they may squeal since they are high performance breaks but from what i have read they are not that high performance. My friend has an 05 MR and he gets it in reverse but no while going forward.

No problem at all. This is the whole point of having a forum on subjects like this. Glad I could help.

having a similar problem with my 06 SE. Used to happen during slow turns went away but now it happens during normal driving with no brakes applied. Feels like something scratching against the rotors while driving without appling the brakes at all. Taking it in for an oil change gonna have them look it over hope its just built up brake dust.
