That's no big deal then. You can get hub adapters which convert the centerbore from the Mustang's 70mm to the Evo's 67.1mm:

This is when they had confirmed fitment for the Evo. One is 30 mm, the other fitment, 32 mm.
Somehow I don't think 31 mm is going to be a problem.
Also, the Type-C RS model Gruppe-s sells is supposed to be an Evo fitment. It has the same 17x8.5; 31 mm offset. ??
