SSR Comp-H in 17x8.5 - why won't these fit?

That's no big deal then. You can get hub adapters which convert the centerbore from the Mustang's 70mm to the Evo's 67.1mm:

most cobra rims will swap right onto a evo, I used my beat up autox rims on my bros cobra to do burnouts... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShPX6JK9Xn8

One more thing to add:

This is when they had confirmed fitment for the Evo. One is 30 mm, the other fitment, 32 mm.

Somehow I don't think 31 mm is going to be a problem.

Also, the Type-C RS model Gruppe-s sells is supposed to be an Evo fitment. It has the same 17x8.5; 31 mm offset. ??

well when i did the order they give you
4 17x8.5 SSR Comp-H SML I
4 Required centering ring
20 Required lugnut for vehicle
1 Lug adapter
