Like the topic says. For those of you that are switching back and forth on one set of wheels, what is it costing you to remove the summers and mount/balance the snows? They tried to jack the price 140$ higher than last time. Im definitely getting a new set of wheels come summer.

for 17 inch wheels, expect to pay about $30 - 45 per wheel to mount and balance.

$35 for the whole set. Dismount summers, mount winters, balance. Local tire shop that likes imports.

Discount tire used to charge me $80-90 before I found this other place. . .

BTW, that is with me taking him the wheels and tires already off the car. . .

Yeah, it's expensive, mine was about $75 or so at NTB. And the guy does it all by hand and with a torque wrench...

It's about $80 per 4 to just mount in Jersey but if you're looking to dismount the old ones, I'd say it'll come out to $100 and change.

Went to Les scwab and they told me $140 cause they had to use a "special" tire machine for my 16x5's. What a bunch of knuckleheads. Drove over to Wal-mart and found a cool Asian guy who was in to Evo's. $20 bucks and I tipped him another $20 for not scratching my rims.

^ my friend that used to work at Walmart automotive told me he couldn't be sure whether he'll scratch my wheels when I asked him to do it for me...so props to that kid he deserved $20!

So I would suggest talking to the walmart kid before taking it there.
