I don't know why everyone keeps bringing up the weight issue. The weights are the same, within a half pound.
Rota's are not heavy wheels and as for the quality who knows, I don't know what alloys the companies use so this could come into play. I have not heard of anyone breaking either wheel so it was never a thought in my head.'
There are alot of people with the FN01RC, but everyone has the bronze, silver, matte black, and hyper black. I have only seen two cars with the FN01RC's in the gloss black.

If you want original wheels, don't get the FN01RC, eeryone and their grandma has them. They are probably the higher quality wheels of the two though. If you don't like the polished centers then just get a different color. P45Rs look sweet, but face it, they are not the more practical, lighter, or higher quality wheel.

Rotas ARE heavy. They are cheap cast wheels so what do you expect? I dont know what the 5Zigens weigh but a Volk TE37 in 18x9.5 weighs like 17lbs to the Rotas 22 lbs or whatever. That is just one example of course. Now try to turn that. It will make a difference in acceleration. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the P45Rs! For a DD I think they look sick for the money. But if you are going to race then I would get something lighter. Just my thoughts though.

Imo the 5zigens quailty is questionable, at least the crappy paint they put on it.
I've had a set in bronze color on my last car and the paint started to fade/chip after a year. Dunno...

I never said I liked the 5Zigens. I actually said between the two I would go with the Rotas. But I also said that if he wants a good rim for autox this would be toward the bottom of my list. For daily driving it would be at the top of my list due to practicality (such as potholes, curbs, road construction crap) and price. But for racing I think they would be too heavy.

Matte Black on Silver 5Zigens

I know it's not a white evo, but they are both wide wheels, so that it give an idea of what they would look like.

Well yes I do have proof. The weight, and the price. Subiedude says the P45R is 23lbs in that size and you can get them shipped for around $1700 with 265/35R18 tires.

If your car is white, go with 5zigen in bronze. white with black rim/polished lip is wayyyy overplayed and looks tacky imo. honeslty, go find white cars with some nice bronze and you'll see thier sex.
