Mine lasted 10k, but I probably would have made it to 12k had I not gotten a flat tire that wasn't repairable.

As for replacements, today I finally got my set of Falken Azenis RT-615's and I am SO glad I went with these set with all the recommendations I've read throughout this forum (255/40/17).

my car right now has 9300 miles and I noticed the other day that the inner thread is becoming kind of bald so i'm hoping to get maybe 3k more out of them. I rotate them every oil change, never tracked the car and it's my daily.

LOL, not long enough. Mine had roughly around 11k on them just daily driving. They were alright, needed to replace in the near future. I lowered the car and drove around for a several hundred miles before getting an alignment, and that really killed them. They were absolutly bald on the inside. I don't have any specific tire recomendation, the lots fo decent tires out there.

Damn you guys really push it when you're driving your Evo. I had 27K (daily driven) on the tire before I switched them out. You can still see the tread line but it was border lining bold.

I got 16,500 miles out of my Advans. I replaced them with the new Bridgestone RE050A Pole Positions... not the same tire as the regular RE050's. I'm really happy with them. They can handle foul weather way better than the Advans can, they give you a slightly better ride, they are quieter, and they stick in the dry about 97% as good as the Advans did. Well, it could be that the new tires have taller tread blocks than the worn out Advans and I could just be feeling a slight bit of squirm. Dedicated trackday dudes will shave a brand new tire's tread down.

I like them and they were not super expensive.
