So if I want aftermarket lug nuts I need after market rims?

I have concluded this based on my search.. Is this correct?

Got tuner type lugs on my 14" OE rims... Of course, they're on my Civic though, and not an Evo.

Because aftermarket lugs aren't compatible with our stock wheels. Aftermarket wheels/lugs are usually chamfered (angled where they seat against the wheel), a la:



While the stock Evo lug nuts are shanked (flat seat against the wheel), like this:



ignore the fact that the diagrams are illustrating fitment problems

Why would you change your lugs?
