stance on the swift springs are nice. Are the OEM struts for the evo 8 KYB? Can the swifts be paired with these and approximately how many miles does this combination last with light driving (no hard fast turns, slow over bumps, avoiding pot holes...etc.)

oem struts for evo 8 non MR is kyb. swifts with the kyb will be fine.

No fast turns? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of a suspension upgrade?

Yes, OEM are KYB.

Depends (1k-100k). Struts are a wear item. Just one pothole can damage them.
