I've ran teins on my SRT-4 and a RSX-S for awhile and these are the best yet and compliment this car.
thanks so much for sharing your experience, glad to see people with good result on them, how is the driving feel over bumpy road? what setting do you keep them on?

Previously on this car I had Tanabe springs and didn't mind driving anywhere. Now with these it is the same way, if I hit a hard bump it is more pronounced from the stiffness but i feel like I have control faster (hope that makes sense) For daily driving I usually have it at 6 or 8 and 12 or so at the track depending on which one I'm at. I also put on my perrin rear sway bar, stout mounts and rear end links a few days ago and it added some fun factor and other racy elements to turns lol

Great thanks for the quick response. I was debating over several other suspension such as BC and Stance, both of them offer mono tube with inverted struts, but TEIN MONO Flex was my first choice before these came out, but I couldn't find any info on them before... Just wondering if BC and Stance will offer the same performance as TEIN MONO FLEX since their setups are very close

tomatoooo or tomotaaaa deciding is one of those fun things we all get to do. After a few different setups, different cars, different tracks, I really do like these the best thus far. I'm no Michael Shumacher but I'm no Homer Simpson either Buy a set, put them on and go, if you don't like them my wife will probably buy them off you for her VIII.

The Evo comes from the factory with stiff springs in the rear. Whatever coilovers you get should also be stiffer in the rear. I don't know why Tein would swap the rates and make them 14/10. That doesn't work with how the Evo behaves. It would require lots of other changes in order to be optimized. In my case, I didn't have to touch the stock sway bars, front strut bar, or anything. It was just the coils with some bushings and rear endlinks. Simple, proper, and deadly.

Thats what I thought, keeping stcok spring rate setup. not only TEIN reverse the spring rate, most other company such as HKS, JIC and many many others do the same.

does anyone know if I can order different spring rate from Tein? I kind want to stay with the stock spring rate arrangement, stiffer in the back, softer in the front.

You may or may not care, but I figured I'd throw it out there anyway. For $1550, you can get the PIC/Pure TSOs, which are custom made coilovers that have already been setup to spec so that all you do is slap 'em on and get them aligned. Think of it as a slightly lesser version of my Vishnu/Chronohunter Ohlins but at less than half the cost...
