LE28N's 18X9.5 +28 on 265/40/18 BGF Drag radial

I just bought some new rims for the bumble bee. I went with the Volk LE28N's 18X9.5 +28 on 265/40/18 BFG Drag radial. I was very tired of slipping and getting poo-poo 60 fts.

Will I have a problem with rubbing? My fenders are already rolled so no worries there. Comments, suggestions...

By the way I have 2 used Volk LE28N's 18X9's, the other two are hurt pretty bad. Also I have 3 KW Variant 3's for sale as well; 2 rears and one front.

you may have to some rubbing on the fender liner as the 40 series sidewall is tall...

Thanks for the help!

Here are my options; which one would you pick?

P245/40R18/LL
P265/40R18/LL
P275/35R18/LL

Get the 275/35/18..

The best would be if you had 17's, but since your using 18's, those are probly the best choice.

With an 18in wheel your pretty limited..

275s would give you the best clearance but if traction is an issue you may want more sidewall in which case a 17 inch tire would have been your best bet...
