Yes, the sidewall is not nearly as stiff as the stockers, however, most tires compared to the stockers feel squishy. The AO46 has some belt design not even the Neovas had. The Yoko employee I was talking to mentioned that (regarding the handling abilities of our stock tires).

Regarding the Kumhos, you're getting 80% of the tire at less than 50% of the price. The Kumho also has great wet weather handling (the tread pattern of the Falken scares me with regards to wet traction...although I am no engineer). Also remember the Kumhos are at least a pound lighter per tire than the Yokos and are great for drag racing with the softer sidewalls.

The Falkens are also really heavy if anyone with "light" wheels was going to consider them. More heavy than most tires. It's in the sidewall build
