Stock endlinks with hotchkis sway bar
So i purchased a hotchkis rear sway bar with perrin endlinks.
Turns out the endlinks are defective. The inner thread of one of the read bars seems to be wrong as NONE of the pieces will screw into it.
This leads me to this thread, how well will the stock endlinks hold up with the hotchkis sway bar for daily driving standards? I know if I push it they'll eventually break, but I'd like to upgrade them.

as far as the end links, i used my stock endlinks for quite a while on my evo viii, until i stripped them after changing the sway bar stiffness multiple times.
i eventually got the perrin ones and they worked well. sorry to hear yours aren't working for you.

I use the stockers with my perrin swaybar. I track the car to. Is there something to be worried about? I had aftermarket endlinks on my STI and they made alot of noise so i chose not to run them on the EVO. Are you guys with aftermarket ones getting any clunking or anything?

evo shibby,
Your endlink probably has the powdercoating in the threads. I had this initial issue and had to push the threaded ball joint in hard.
Also on one end of the red shaft the threads are reverse threads. So left loosey does not apply.
Just figure out which end is which. See how the threads are on the other side of the red shaft and turn the other way on the other. Get it in a few turns back it out and repeat going a little deeper each time.
Perrin had forgotten to pack jam nuts with mine and they were cool to replace them once I emailed them an invoice for proof of purchase.
