I have fender rubbage going on in the front none in the rear, drivers side rubs more then passenger.... If I take a turn at a brisk speed I get all kinds of fender lip rubbage.... I am thinking to get different lowering springs Swifts I have S-techs now.... or Just roll the fenders and call it a day.

i am lowered with tanabe gf210 and have rgII 18x9+29 with 245/40/18 falken tires, and only rub when i have my steering wheel locked to the left or right. the rubbing is only minor on the inside plastic fender well ( i just dont fully lock my sterring wheel unless i have to). i dont think you will have any problems with 245/40. if you dont want any rubbing without modding your plastic fender well, then go with 235/40/18 tires. but be advised youll have tire stretch and 235 isnt the best for a 9 inch wide wheel. just make sure you research the tires you want because a 245/40/18 falken doesnt have the same od as a 245/40/18 bf goodrich, michelin, etc

thanks, I suppose the fact that in my case the car isn't lowered helps...what sort difference in ride height are you getting with the tanabe gf210s? I don't like the tyre stretch effect so I'll do my research on the outside diam

-1.5 front and -1 in rear. best thing to do is find members on here that are running advans with stock suspension and see if they have any rubbing issues with the tires they have

The wheels I want are 18x8.5" wide with a +33 offset. I plan on a modest drop using either Swift's or GF210's.
Am I going to rub with 245/40's?
Or should I play it safe like the rest of my setup and go with 235/40's?
