My Brembo paint is chipping away

The red clear on my Brembo calipers is chippin away. Do you guys think I should take it to the dealer and have regular warranty cover the problem? Or.. should i not get my hopes up and just have them re-coated with clear again? Not cool at all. Pretty upset bout it because its all four calipers that are defective. If i get them recoated would I still get to keep the brembo logo on them? I would appreciate the comments. Let me know.

if you get them recoated, they wont have the brembo logo, but you can buy the vinyl from ebay and they will not burn off or anything.

I doubt the dealer will do anything unless they are really cool. Do a search on "powdercoating the brembo" if you decide to paint them.

dealer fixed mine with no issues. you should check with them. covered under corrosion warranty. Like if the wing starts turning white becuase of the clear fading they would fix it.

How many miles were on the evo when you took it in to the dealer? Also.. Did they replace them with brand new ones?

Do you know of anyone that has used the brembo vinyl from ebay? I heard it melts off right away. I would use a stencil but honestly it seems like it would be a PAIN.

^I would suggest a color but first want to know what color your wheels are.
