I wish I could take my Evo out but the canpoy just BARELY doesn't fit in the back. Plus, I had a nasty encounter with some road debris last time on my trip to Mid Ohio. I'll probably take it to the closer tracks like Road America and Gman though, see if I can't sneak in on some HPDE's

Hey, I want some sweet PIC shirts! I'll be at Putnam both days. We should set up an Evo section for everyone to paddock together.

It better be right next to the Honda Challenge paddock then

I can have some jdm sweet PIC shirts made up no problem. This is what we made last year for Nationals:
PIC/EVO
The design on the back varied with whatever car the driver was driving (I had an Evo so I made an Evo, others had Integras and Civics).

You'd have to earn them though

only beat the track record by 5 seconds . This is, after all, JDM sweet.

j/k, I'll have some made up. I need a new one for myself anyhow, I used the current one to work on the car and it's not presentable.

See you at Putnam!

The car had very few changes from last year, the biggest being the suspension and tires (running 245 Hankook Z214's vs well worn (ie. fast) 255 RA1's). Power was virtually the same, and the car was absolutely fantastic to drive.

Then you factor in the support (PIC was on site all weekend, and Pure was there too), you cannot beat these for the money. Out west you guys have Robi, Paul and John, here in the Midwest we have PIC.
hmmm, nearly 4 seconds.

Sounds like I should include PIC when I start shopping coilovers here shortly. I had pretty much decided on what I wanted, so thanks for the added info!

The basis of the Pure/PIC set up is base on 20 plus year experience in SCCA club racing, NASA racing and autocross. We know what works and try new thing to improve on them.

If you want to compare them to the Robi Spec KW's. We beat most of them at the 06 EVO shootout and came .2 seconds off the $4K Ohlins that won the shootout.

That itself says it all. I came from racing ITA in SCCA running on Koni's and when I first drove on the PIC's I was skeptical. But then I won the first Mid Ohio Honda Challenge H4 on PIC's so I use them on all the cars I drive now. My daily driver Civic Si. The Pure Evo and the Honda Challenge cars that I get to drive now and then.

Oh. I also won the TTE at Mid Ohio driving a Honda CRX on PIC's. That is 2 wins in NASA TT at Mid Ohio. Greg in TTA and me in TTE. You will not get that support with other companies. PIC and Pure Tuning are racing enthusias and loves the sport. Be it HPDE, Time Trials or wheel to wheel.
